personal restless leg syndrome remedy

Hi all to who read this.....

If you suffer from a condition called RESTLESS LEG SYNDROME (RLS), then you will know how debilitating this can be.
I have personally suffered with this for many years, possibly, but not definitely related to a discectomy I had in 2007, approximately. This procedure meant that I l lost some sensation in my left foot, which is the mainly affected RLS leg.
My symptoms are involuntary twitching or jerking of both legs at random. I once had an episode when sitting, that showed absolute pitch-perfect timing between spasms, i.e. about 40 seconds. This was not pleasant. I find that the symptoms are worse when having been stood for a while and after exercise. My current job requires standing for around 3 hours and sitting for around 2. When I am seated, I often get involuntary leg movement.
Give the above scenario, I visited my GP/doctor and explained that I had been living with this condition for around 11 years. I had mentioned it to my doctor on numerous previous occasions, but this time explained that the RLS was affecting my quality of life, i.e. preventing restful sleep.
He prescribed a course of Pramiprexole, with the brand name of Gleepark 0.088 mg  tablets. I take two tablets, four hours before bed-time. The reason for this is that, would you believe it, there is a side effect with these drugs of insomnia. Thus, taking them 4 hours before retiring counters this.
I was improving steadily with this drug, but RLS was down to about 25% of the worst case occurrences. I had a personal eureka moment, when I thought, 'what if I wear compression stockings for support when standing at work??
I duly tried this and it was an instant success. My RLS is now down to about 5% of where it was when I started this treatment, in November 2018. I am now going to purchase some sports style compression stockings, as the ones I wear presently are NHS (UK national health service) supplied and I want my own, i.e. black in colour.
Given the success of my experience and experimentation, I hope it helps others??
Kind Regards.
